Life can be hard
sometimes. We wish it was easier but it wasn’t. For me, to be honest, I wish
life was like a game. When you lose in a game, you can always start it from the
beginning again. All mistakes are cleared. And you get a new start to play.
But life is not
like a game.
You can’t undo
your words. You can’t undo your actions. Once it’s done, it’s done. That’s why
we should speak and act wisely. I know, it’s easier to be said than done.
As a human, we
make mistakes. But, always remember that we can always learn from it. Guess
life is all about learning. We learn from experience, we learn from school, we
learn from other people, we learn from mistakes. That, could be one of the
points from living.
So, should we do
a mistake to learn? Of course not.
What I wanted to
say here is, don’t hate yourself for did a mistake. Learn from it instead. Yeah
I know, once again, it’s easier to be said than done. That’s true.
But think about
this : it wouldn’t make you feel better to keep regretting your mistakes. To
drown yourself in sadness? It’s useless. It wouldn’t make you be a better
person.
Let’s say you
have a math exam. When you failed and you kept regretting it, and did nothing
about it, it’d be useless for you. You would keep failing in the next exam. But
if you learn from it, you observe your mistakes and find out how to do it
right, you might pass the next exam with a good grade.
You are the only
one who can pull up yourself from the sea of regret. Others can also help you,
but the key is in your hand. Life is short, don’t waste it to be nothing.
If right now you
feelin’ broken for a mistake you did in the past, I wouldn’t tell you to forget
it. ‘Cause it’s not something to forget. It’s part of your life. It’s part of
you. Just forgive yourself, accept yourself as an ordinary human who can do a
mistake, stop repeating your mistakes in your head, and learn from it to be a
better person.
And always remember, when you fall, you gotta jump higher than before.
